Belial on Inferno... words cannot describe how infuriating this fight is. I don't know how a demon hunter would ever solo him - my friend is getting one-hit every time.
I barely beat him and had to do it solo, so he had less hp. And this is with a wizard set up defensively, using nothing but cast-and-forget skills so I could run the whole time. I don't know how anyone that has to stand there and attack is going to beat him. Well, besides having beyond-uber gear.

Grind for high end loot. That's my only thought.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

I just don't have the motivation to grind out the loot or scour the AH for uber items. It doesn't have the innate hook that D2 had.
I did spend 3 hours last weekend refreshing the AH like mad with specs I wanted on some rare gear and came away with some great deals, but I have no desire to do that on a regular basis. Thus, getting through Inferno will be a slow process for me.

Figured out how to use the AH to make a ton of gold.
What I do is I look for crazy insane bids. There are so many items on the AH I can't help but feel often times the good ones get overlooked, or they good ones are WAY over priced.
However a lot of people are forgetting to set the bid ammount high enough. So example yesterday I bought a ring for 1,500 gold can't remind the stats but it was a pretty good ring and the guy wanted 150k for it which IMHO was WAY TOO MUCH (150k was buyout)
I bought the ring for 1,500 gold through bidding, and flipped it for 45k. After trans fees I made 36,750 gold on that.
So this morning I bidded on 16 different items. I'll be reselling the ones that I win.
I figure if I win half my items I'll profit about 250,000-350,000 gold.

Genius! I am finding absolutely NO good items through grinding. The only way to make my character better is the AH. Kinda sad.

You need to learn about other classes, and what they like as well. I found an awesome chest of armor for a DH the other day sold it for 150k gold. That's what I love about D3 in D2 if I found an awesome piece of gear for another character which I didn't have I was kinda stuck. In D3 I can unload it.

i played through the game on normal with a witchdoctor, played some solo, and some with buddies, even got to play through the cow level
i found absolute shite for my character, nothing uber, i also stuck with the same skill sets the whole game because nothing was ever better than what i currently had hot keyed
right before diablo i discarded my witchdoctor weapon and offhand charm and went with a stronger sword, bam, my dps went from 150 to 320, not digging how strongly weapons are tied to your players total power, but i guess that makes sense with the AH, i simply don't have the time or "want" to jack with that bs, i want to game, not watch stocks and trades

Currently going through the game as a Wizard, holy **** is Normal mode easy lol, I think in the 12 hrs I've played on my wizard i've died like twice.
In fact tonight on a boss fight in Act 4 I was in a team of 3 and the two team mates died right away (I think they had high DPS and low health and just got ****ed early) either way they are dead and boss has like 85% health. They are in chat like "We are screwed" and I went "No don't leave watch this ****"
My Wizard completely owned it, I was doing 600 DPS (which I think for normal mode at lvl 31 or so is decent) Had to a lot of kniting.
But m Wizard also has good health (I'm not getting one shotted) I got 6k health 650 DPS and a ton of armor think I'm good.

Has got that jut
Finally dipped into the auction house yesterday for some gems. Slapping two of those in my armor really helped out with staying alive.
Also ended up grabbing a club that moved my dps on that hand from something like 47 to 66. Coasted through Acts III and IV and beat the game.

yeah this game is pretty mindless...
1. just grab the best loot you can afford
2. slap in the best gems you can afford for the highest DPS you can afford
3. click/kill until you hit a wall
4. repeat
