    I'm wanting ARMA 2 to play some Day-z. I've been watching a bunch of this guy's survive videos and it's giving me the itch for a hardcore game.

    That looks horrible. How could you play a game that every time you shoot the screen goes all crazy?

    Oh that big is fixed. That was just a link to the last video I had watched. But you get an idea of the gameplay...plus the mod is in alpha.

    I picked up the Tribes Ascend Steam starter pack for $9.99. Pretty fun game. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do my controls though, considering you have to be able to move, shoot, aim, ski, jet pack my hands are cramping LOL.

    Any control tips? I'm using a side mouse button to ski and space bar to jump/jetpack.

    WASD to move, RMB to jump/jetpack, Spacebar to ski, Mouse4 for melee, E for use, F for nades, C for pack item, Shift for zoom, R for reload, V for voice callouts.

    There's a bit of a learning curve.

    In other news! The Blacklight Retribution devs said that Monday, July 2nd is going to be the day their game hits Steam complete with stats and cheevos.

    I setup RMB to ski and space for jet pack...big difference! The game is pretty fun. I'm playing technician and keeping the defenses alive in CTF.

    The old Windows 3.1 skiing game used right mouse button to ski and left to jump IIRC. I was having flashbacks of it trying to gain speed for a speed capture.
