I went in on the Torment and Shroud kickstarters as well, but I am not sure if I will stay in the more expensive of the two (especially since I got in the Torment one at $20 and the other at $30 and I never even played Ultima).

This Kickstarter seems like a great deal for bases for minis: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...r-miniature-ga

The KS itself is set up poorly, but I would love to see some mini painters rush pledge it.

Edit: I just realized that my next KS to arrive in the mail is due any day now. Anyone else get Zpocalypse? http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...val-board-game

Yeah, plus $15 is a nice low price point with a fair amount of extras. The mimic box sold me though

Mimic box sold me too. Grabbed a $15 pledge.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Awesome! There are people just qq over the mimic box versus the original art design on it. I like it!

The game arrived today but I have not even had a chance to open the plastic wrap yet. The shipping box did seem rather full in comparison to some other kickstarters though...

I watched that Dungeon Roll video and the gameplay doesn't look that great. I thought it would be a bit deeper. I guess I'll read the user manual before I go in on it, but it seems the treasure/loot is only for scoring purposes. How the combat works seems extremely basic.

This is how you make a SP/MP game:

    Single player offline:
This is the DRM free, completely off-line version of the game. Your character is stored on your computer and can not be used in any of the online modes.

    Single Player Online (SPO)
In the SPO mode you connect to the server, receive content updates, and can see the long term changes others are having on the world. However, you are not visible on anyone else’s screen, nor for grouping, and you don’t see anyone else in the world. You can switch from SPO to FPO or OPO modes whenever you like while in a city or overland map. Some parts of the main storyline quests may temporarily force the player into SPO mode for some parts of the quest.

    Friends Play Online (FPO)
In friends play online, you only see people you have flagged as friends in the game and only they can see you. Like single player, this is just a server side filter. For those who prefer the quieter game with friends or maybe for those who prefer a more focused role playing experience, this lets you enjoy a more limited online experience. You can switch to SPO or OPO modes whenever you like while in a city or in the overland map.

    Open Play Online (OPO)
In OPO players will see everyone that the server thinks they should see. This will not necessarily be all people in the area but should be people you care the most about based on what we believe is their relevance to you.
Back Shroud of the Avatar, its looking really cool.

Marketing seems to also be hurting this one. Help spread the word, as it seems like a great idea! I am in for the $25 tier.

The simplistic gameplay is why I said I will be able to get my kids and wife on board.

The more complex gameplay..that's for my son and I. Our copy of Zpocalpyse, Zmergency, and Zmaster arrived yesterday! AWESOME.

I haven't had a chance to play Zpocalypse yet, but I might get to today.

Let me know what you guys think...I'm tempted to pick up one of the massive bundles.

I played the game with two others tonight and enjoyed it. The squad-based mechanic is refreshing and I can definitely see having this and Zombicide hit the table once in a while.

Well, it seems that Marvel wasn't a fan of this one and shut it down.
