Hammerhead Shark
Has no one here played FarCry 3?
I did a thread search and didn't find anything.
My opinion is that it is a really good game. It still fails to match the original, but redeems the franchise from FarCry 2. The story is a bit silly, but at least it has a story. The graphics are spectacular, the best I've seen in any game. Finally something that crushes the original Crysis. The wildlife is, well, wild. The first time I was stalking pirates and not paying attention to my surroundings, only to be attacked (and killed) by a tiger, it was a great moment. Most of the animals have a good balance of aggressiveness and I love that they hunt. Dingos will start to charge but then turn and run if you shoot at them. Tigers won't.
The landscape is jaw dropping. Physics are good, human AI is okay, animal AI is good. Loads of secrets and an insanely large map, at least as big a Skyrim.
I give it a big thumbs up.
Anyone else play it?

What you gonna do?!?
I'm actually playing through it right now. It is fun but not spectacular in my opinion. The graphics are good but are not the best I have seen. Bioshock: Infinite and The Witcher 2 are both better in that regard, I would even argue Journey based on artistic expression but that is more of a preference instead of technological supremacy. At the 10 hour mark I would give it a 8/10 or so.

Awesome.
Haven't played it yet! I've never been a Farcry fan, so I'm waiting for a drop to $20 or less.

"Watches You Sleep" Shark
Played a little bit and I thought it was good. Waiting for a price drop before I jump in.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Witcher 2?
I would agree that it's a better overall game, but it isn't even in the same class as far as visuals.
I have it set to ultra and the visuals are stunning.
Edit: FarCry 3 was rated as best graphics of 2012.

Nerdy.......AND sexy
its my second time playing it. I love the open-island idea. It's a great game overall. I love hunting wild animals, taking out forts. It's like a massive playground.
So many crazy things have happened, due to the randomness of it all.
