    My "ReBuild"

I will show before and after pics shortly.

There is my validation overclock. Ran stable with wprime (wd 1024) 3x with no blue screen.

Tried 4.2 ghz but failed. Just wanted to post that I am am so stoked to have learned how to overclock and properly build a pc.
Can't wait to get pics up to show you guys. I love this rig and built in 2009! the only upgrades so far were the GTX 580 and SSD.

why the switch from 1200 to the 500R? The rest of the rig looks nice. How are the temps? I would say go with a liquid cooling kit for the CPU if the temps are above 60c.

    Got it from a friend.

The cable management is much friendlier, drive bays are designed better. I like it.

    I idle in the 50 C and 100% stress test around 82c

    What ya think?

I should prolly get another fan to "Pull" and get abit lower temps.

That seems high (to me). My CPU runs at 30 C at base and 63 C max (at full throttle). This is according to both Everest and BurnInTest after running it at throttle for 20 minutes (each test). You're running 20 degrees hotter than I am. And being that your case is smaller (theoretically less airflow), I would think about the liquid CPU kit (I previously mentioned). As for the fan circulation, I would recommend, you get the the side (and top rear) fans to pull air out and the front to pull air in. This could help with the circulation. You not having a top vent mades a diff. If you had a top fan I would recommend that you have it pull out as well and have the side fan actually pull in. With the 1200, I have great airflow. Three fans in front pulling air in, the rest (top side and rear) pulling air out. The liquid CPU cooling kit def helps.

I'm not sure how space is on your case but if there are no obstructions, you could put holes up top and attach an additional fan inside. I would first get the fan (240mm if possible) and drill a bunch of 1/4" holes so that the fan can pull the air out. If you do this, make sure you take the "measure twice, cut once method." Empty the case. Pencil an outline of the fan (inside the case. Then drill the holes in a standard vent config. Don't forget to drill the holes for the screws.
