CoD: Ghosts...any thoughts?

A new CoD game is coming this fall:

but I'm debatong whether or not I want it. Looking for opinions. On the one hand I've enjoyed the series as a whole and online is always a blast. However, the last few games have left me a little chilly on the campaigns, and I LOVE campaigns so this is sort of important for me. Are they going to make it more than 6 hours long? Are the ghosts from MW or is this going to be like the GR series? Another thing I'm concerned with are all the damned trash talking children playing the series lately (but this would NOT be the devs fault, its just a condition of playing poular games online...however its hard to ignore).

I'll likely get it but I want to hear what other people's opinions on this game are so far. Granted we don't have much info yet, but I thought I'd post this while it was on my mind.

It's a CoD game. Expect a 4-6 hour single player game and hordes of whiny brats online.

Expect same game with slightly upgraded graphics and one or two new perks...

i actually enjoy CoD campaigns but hate the multi... its the other way around for battlefield

but since it will probably be a short campaign with DLC i will wait till it hits under $20

I expect corner camping for killstreaks, dropshots, OP shotguns, OP auto snipers, quick scoping, and more thugs that think they are 'gamers' quitting matches to keep their KDR up.

Thanks for the feedback y'all! I guess I'm pretty much expecting the same things I'm reading in this thread, I just wish it could be a bit different. They couldn't do much about the whiny brats online but they COULD make the campaign longer and try to make it a but different than te elast 847 games in the series. I still find myself interested though. I'm not going to get it day 1 like I have with some others but if the early impressions from gamers (not so much reviews...I trust regular 'ol gamer's opinions more) are good I will get it.

Looks like more of the same. Also that live action teaser was laughably bad for a game with a 9 (10?) figure budget.

It sure didn't do any convincing in my case. I hope the official reveal later this month is a whole lot better.

I love the COD series.

Not to play it mind you...dear lord no, but rather as a beacon that helps keep more of the FPS trolls away from gems like Natural Section 2, Blacklight: redemption, TF2, and etc.
