Already backed that one. It's sadly not going nearly as quickly as I would have hoped. I love LFG.

So recently a board game kickstarter failed. I find it amazing that people are angry and insisting on their money back. It's kickstarter. The rewards are only there if the project succeeds, nothing guarantees success. People seem to think they are buying a product, not backing the creation of one, which may or may not succeed.
I've never backed anything on Kickstarter that I wasn't willing to lose the money on. That includes my recent backing of the CST watch, which is crazy expensive, but I wanted one anyway. If I get one, sweetness. If I don't, I'll be irked, but I'm not going to complain to the BBB, or try and sue for my money back. That's just insane to me.

The backers have a right to pursue legal action if the product is not delivered.

Curious how this pans out. Most people reported him to the states customer fraud department so we'll see what happens.

This doesn't change anything for me. We had a conversation about a year ago where some were treating kickstarter as a preorder instead of a "donation with benefits." I always go into a kickstarter knowing that its all up in the air. If they deliver then great, but IMO, I just enjoy giving someone a chance to do something creative even if I get nothing back from it. I see this more as a patronage to the arts, much like the wealthy did back in the day.
I don't know why people treat kickstarter as a store. I understand being disappointed, but some are screaming fraud. I'd think that would be hard to prove unless we stroked a check for a Corvette and left town lol.
Its like giving a buck to a homeless dude with a guitar and then complaining about the musical quality.

My Dungeon Roll box showed up yesterday. I haven't had a chance to really get into it yet, but will try and at least look at it closer tonight.
