Online play I lost textures for a minute, but they came back. Fantastic game though and I'm sure all if these issues will get ironed out. This game is making them a fortune.

    Invisible car ftw! That's awesome.

I don't understand why so many people are getting INFURIATED about these launch problems. Like... the game still has a 30+ hour offline campaign that you are fully capable of playing, why get so angry?! I saw one comment earlier saying that Rockstar devs should start committing suicide due to these problems "ruining the game". What kind of asshole thinks these things?

I have no clue. Kind of like the politicians claiming Obamacare is a failure because the website went down lol. Too many morons out there that thrive off anger.

Now, I would never go so far as to recommend someone injure or be injured because of a game. With that said, if I bought GTA for the online portion (this happens with COD and BF so it is feasible here) I would be ( and have good reason ) to be upset. If they were not ready to release it they should not have. Just because it is Rockstar does not mean they should get a free pass for releasing a broken, buggy product.

I've been a part of so many messed up launches of games that it doesn't bother me too much anymore. It's just expected. It's still annoying but I certainly don't get mad about it. Just wait a couple days or up to a week and everything will be just fine, as always.

Well, at this point if you want a game for the online, you should definitely wait to see what the reviews say. I haven't even tried GTA Online yet. I usually wait a month or so before trying MP in games or MMOs unless its just a shooter. They couldn't even get the iOS app to work right, so I expected the Online mode to be on fire for at least a few weeks.

I agree. However, not everyone has the same knowledge as us who hang out at forums fairly consistently. GTA is the ultimate mainstream game, non-gamers play GTA. With that said they pay the same as us who know better than to try and jump on hammered servers, and if you pay full price for a game that supposedly has features then you have purchased the right to use them. This is not an alpha game, this is not kickstarter, this is retail where you pay for a finished, working as intended game. Is that realistic? No, but that is what should be. And if you market to a segment of individuals who are not aware of "how things work" with online games and advertise something as available, that will be unavailable at the time of purchase, then you deserve their wrath.
