The XBox One is pretty cool.

I'm really impressed with the Kinect controls on the XBO. It doesn't work unless you speak fairly clearly, and you need to know the commands (like, I need to say "XBox Go To Friends" instead of just "XBox Friends"), but I think it's cool as hell. I'm also kinda amazed that I can use it to control my TV, cable box and speakers without needing to rearrange anything or use separate IR blasters. And it logs me in by seeing my face! What!

I took a video of me using the Kinect to turn on all my devices, navigate TV, then turn everything off. Check it out. The weird camera shift you see when I turn the console on is me getting the phone out of my face so the thing will see me and log in.

I'l probably pass on the Xbone for a PS4, but glad to hear you are enjoying it!

I may consider getting one now that the Kinect is not mandatory. Haven't liked it very much whenever I've been over at my friend's house that has one.

My PS4 has been a very expensive Amazon Instant Video box lately. All my gametime is either on PC or X1.

I figure once Sunset Overdrive comes out, it'll reach critical mass and I'll be forced to buy it. Same with LBP3 on PS4.

I've had two of them since day one and they're my fave consoles ever. Unfortunately at this point it hasn't necessarily been for games (except Madden) but like Kami said all of the other things the Xbone does well with the integration and voice commands.

I just don't care about voice controls. I have never even used the voice controls on my phone.

I was tempted by some of the free game deals this week with the XB1, but there aren't any games I really want. Sunset Overdrive looks like it might be ok, but not enough to buy a console.
