WHats cBO steping
i was reading overcloaking stuff and it said cB0 is good for overclocking and p3 has it
what is it and how do i use it toward my p3 800 100bus

A stepping is the same as a model for a chip. Steppings increase as fixes are made or new features are included. The Intel naming convention is to always start at A0. Since there are almost always bugs the first time, the model is "stepped" to A1 when those fixes are implemented. If features are added, the stepping becomes B0, etc. etc. The 'c' in cB0 says that the chip is a "coppermine" chip. Go to the following web site.

Here, you can tell which chip goes with which stepping. The first column, which is called the S-Spec, is the last digits of the product code number. Hope this helps.
