Could you add a forum for.....
Buying recomendations....?
These are flooding the video and cpu forums, so that people with problems don't get the attention that they need...
People seem to love to tell others what to buy.... So a forum for that would be a solution perhaps?

That's a really Great Idea! Now DO IT Sharky.

I could co-mod it if i got some help from the more experienced sharks in these waters...

What kind of buying advice? Things like, "Which video card should I buy?"
If so, then I think that's the type of stuff that belongs in the existing topical forums. Breaking the site up into more and more specific forums is going to prevent any individual ones from developing as communities.

That's a good point BUT a used buy/sell forum like it exists right now is completely different from a forum which advises people what videocard, motherboard, etc... to buy. More of a trade show I think (the buy/sell forums I mean).
A lot of people are in the dark about what to buy. I think that was what the original poster of this thread was thinking. At least I think that was what he was thinking.

True, but the amount of threads that gt posted in technical forums about which whatever they should buy drown down the ones of the people who really need techincal support. This is why i could see a forum of this sort being useful, as then the techinical hardware questions will be closer to the top and so these people in sometimes desparate need of technical suppoet/advice would be able to recieve it alot easier and faster.
