Angry Random lockups and Blue screens!!! ***!?!?

I am running an Abit KT7 mobo with an AMD 1.1 Ghz T-bird. My videocard is an Elsa Geforce2 GTS and my soundcard is an Aureal Vortex 2. I am having the worst and most annoying problem ever. I get random lockups ALL the time and sometimes BSODs as well. My system will lockup out of the blue when I am idle, or browsing the web, or anything else. My soundcard used to be an SBlive but it did not work at all (frequent lock ups in games as well) so i returned it. I am so upset and am at my wits end. What is causing all this? Please please help me here.

Ok, if you say so. Should i flash the bios then install the 4-in-1's or the other way around. Thanks a bunch.

I don't think it makes too much difference. I did the same thing today trying to fix a DVD problem (Flashed my Chaintech motherboard and updated my VIA chipset). Because the two are different, I doubt it makes any difference.
