    Question O/C'd 566 FC-PGA problems

    The System
    Abit BE6-2 (Latest Rev BIOS)
    Celeron 566MHz running @ 850 MHz (1.75v) Stock fan / sink
    128 MB PC-133
Guillemot TNT2 Ultra 32MB (Latest NVidia detonator drivers)
    20GB IBM DeskStar HD

    The problem
Various lock ups in Half Life, usually after using other apps prior to playing. I have no problems after rebooting, except for as follows: Some image problems (lots of bright white dots on some walls when viewed at an angle), and some mouse lag after about 20-30 minutes of play. Reboot solves the mouse lag. Prior to installing this processor, I was using a 366 @ 55, with no problems whatsoever.

    Suggestions? Thoughts?

Hi i had the same problem but the 1.80 cpu voltage fixed it or go 1.85 .you should check you cpu temp also .you could install motherboard monitor so your cpu temp is displayed on your screen all the time. or goto radio shack like i did and get a indoor/outdoor digitall thermometer thier like 10.00 bucks and put the outdoor plug right next to your cpu they come with a long cord just set it on you desk this way you get a better temp reading .

Your problem may not be voltage as much as heat. Stock HSF, no, no, no. Get something like an Orb or Alpha you'll see your CPU temp probably drop 20 degrees and stability will greatly improve.
