    Post overclocking v's

    I have a celeron 466 O/c582 on a Abit BE6 w/ adapter.it's at 2.30v and I have the hardware doctor installed and it says the v's get up to 2.35v and the alarm is set to 2.32v should I put the alarm up your keep the celeron at 525 w/ 2.10v??

    That depends on your cpu temp. As you probably well know you are at the theoretical end of the performance barrier with that chips architecture. If your chip is cool enough the yes raise the alarm you're fine. However, if your cpu is something like 50+c then I'd cut back a bit. However, it sounds like you enjoy decent stability.

    it's not the temp. alarm it's the volt alarm it like to go to 2.35v at the highest,and I have been make a temp. log and so far(I started today(10/1/00))and the temp will rise 10C in 2hr32min but it starts at 21.5C and ends at 31.5C and I was playing games (HW:C)and the time.
