    Post Axia

Anyone have a 1.2G T-bird 266MHz fsb Axia??? Let me know your overclock please, have one, wonder if it was worth the hassle of spending the day looking for one.
    Thanks

from most of the people I've talked to its almost a waste to spend the extra money on the 1.2 when the 1ghz axia should hit 1.4, the 1.2 usually only hits 1.4-1.45

the 1ghz is said to hit 1.4, when the 1.1 is said to hit 1.45, and the 1.2 is also said to hit at 1.45.
I would go with the 1.1

i can get it to post at 1.5GHz but I get windows protection errors (thats ram related right?)

I recogmend checking out www.overclockers.com their cpu data base is very nice, it includes cpu speeds and #'s

Thanks for your responses guys. I realize all that info unfortunatly the only AXIA I could find out of all the t-birds from 1 to 1.2G was a 1.2G. Hopefully when hit with extreme cooling, like I will do, the 1.2G axia will make it to 1.6G or better.

It could be ram or it could be cooling holding you back. What ram are you running??

good luck with hitting 1.6, I haven't heard anyone doing that with a 1.2 yet as they are only rated to 1425.. that would be cool, I hope you can do it

Its all on the cooling, seen some past 1450, but with great cooling. A -10 to -15C should help it along. It better cause if it does not make it past 1425 I will be pissed.
