    Post Odd overclocking results

Well I guess this is kind of overclocking. I have had to run the system in my sig on a 100 mhz (500mhz processor speed) bus for the last little while becuase it would lockup way to much at 667/133. Well, I decided that I wanted to go back to 667/133 before my new 133 Ram comes, so I got some 80mm case fans blowing on the little green chipset heatsink, and blowing accross the Ram. Now it seems to be stable, but the speed increases are really off. Like Seti@Home. At 500/100 it would take from 17-22 hours. At 667/133 It takes from 9.6-14 hours! My 3DMark2000 scores also went up. I went from 1700 to 2014!
Am I also getting greating bandwidth no my AGP bus becuase it is running at 89mhz?
Is this normal for that little of a change?

Yeah Usually, in 3dmark a Vid Card upgrade or oc would benefit you more than an oc,

BUt a OC of the AGP BUs and A new vidcard and A OC of a vid Card would make a big diff.

    But that's normal, dont worry.

Yeah, but why is every thing else SO much faster? Like in games I get at least 20 more FPS. In 3DMark2001, the first truck test ran at 2-4(4fps highest) and now at 667/133 it never goes below 12 with a max of 17!
Sandra does not show a huge difference in memory bandwidth, but there is a bit.

FSB oc'ing obviously increases overall system performance and really increases your memory bandwidth, which along with the x-tra 167mhz accounts for your higher scores

As I said, CPU performance in 3dmark2001 isn't really a big thing. 3dmark usually usses alot of Vid Card to determine its readings. So don't worry bout 3dmark. In games, which ones are getting higher? If its like quake, its because quake uses the cpu alot and the more you feed it with cpu power the better framerates you willl get.
