It could possibly be fried. When u put the HS/F on did you accidently wiggle the HS/F back and forth over the cpu while installing? if you did it could have been crushed. Either that or perhaps you didnt lock the cpu in the socket all the way.. take it out and install it again carefully and see what happens.

    Cool

not much can be solved from the limited info you gave.

did you just upgrade and she didn't post??? or was she running when you made the changes and now has crapped 24 hours later?

mysteries we can usually solve, given the right clues.

Reseat your memory and video card. You may also want to remove any non-essential items, like floppy drive, CD-ROM/R/RW/DVD drives, sound card, modem, NIC, and anything else not absolutely essential to the system running.

Try booting again. If you still get a no-POST/no-Video situation, you may have gotten a bunk motherboard.

I've seen bad power supplies cause problems like this. Have you tried a different PS?

Have you tried the chip in a buddies' box? That would definitely isolate the cpu. Maybe try his cpu inyour board too, but if the board is fubar, then it might feck him up too.
