Does anyone know of.....
Thanks you guys.
I've got 4 programs I'm runin' now so I should find the problem.
Cheers.
I got this computer dumped on me yesterday details are
K6-3+450
Gigabyte 5AX
WD200
128megs PC133
TNT2 M64
Sound Blaster Live
Win98se
The problem goes like this once setup will run for a few days with no probs then all of a sudden it will start throwin' up errors everywhere.
I've run the System File Checker quite a few times and every time I have to replace corrupted files everywhere (no particular ones).
I thought that it may have been a crook hard drive so I down loaded WD's diagnostic utility but that tells me the drive's ok.
Can anyone help me with any programs that will check Memory And Cache's for errors.
The Ide cables have been change for known good ones too.
Thanks for any help given as this computer is drivin' me NUTS

Done a virus check lately?
If that turns up negative (or even positive)
Then . . .
I would suggest a fdisk and format and clean install and see if problem continues . . .
Else it could possibly be a bad power supply?

Use http://www.simmtester.com to test whether your memory is working or not. From the sounds of it, might be your system RAM.

Thanks a lot all you guys.
I've got 4 tests now and I've started on them now but looks like I'm goin' to be runnin' these for a couple of days.
Spose it will keep me out of trouble.
Cheers!
