I would like to upgrade my processor from the current 800Mhz Athlon T-bird I have now to the Athlon 1.2 GHz. My question is can my motherboard support it? It is the Giga-Byte GA-7ZX. The company I bought my computer from(Falcon-NorthWest) says the motherboard should be able to support up to the Athlon 1.4 but I should look into it. I am having trouble finding much info about the board. I have been to the manufacturer's website( www.giga-byte.com ) but I did not see anything about what the max processor was that it could support. I am also told my board has a max of 266MHz FSB. Can anyone help me out here?
<EDIT> MOBO is actually the 7ZX NOT the VX.
