Unhappy New ASUS A7V133 Bios (1007.01f), Screwed My MOBO!!! Need Help!

I flashed the BIOS using the usual Aflash utility, everything went fine until I restarted my Computer... and then there was nothing, I mean the Fans are still running, the CD Drives and HD are spinning, BUT NO DISPLAY SIGNAL to the Monitor and no Beeps or any such thing either!!!

I havent heard anybody else having problems with this BIOS... infact it has seemed to improve performance for most people.

Now before I return my MOBO, can anyone out there PLEASE help me out, to what could be wrong or what I could do to fix the problem...

Come on people, I really need some advice this time...

Hmmm, interesting... first of all, where did you get this BIOS from? Im sure its not a final release, im running revision 1.006 and thats stil in BETA! Maybe you installed a BIOS that wasnt meant for that PC. Im not sure there is anything you can do at the moment. Hmmm, just for the heck of it, try clearing the CMOS and removing the battery for a while. Or... hmmm, strange. This is a thoughy.

Cmon guys, try to help us out. But where did you get this BIOS from?

Try changing the jumpers on your board so it uses 'jumper mode' with the default settings for your cpu. then if it works, or doesent work, change the jumpers back to 'jumperfree' mode. That should work as a reset for your bios.

or try putting another chip in it, possibly a duron if you've got one around, which will also kind of reset the bios.

I had a the same problem with my ASUS A7V mobo. I downloaded 1008 BIOS and it flashed just fine, just like you said when I restarted only the fans and drives worked...as I had no video signal. I tried to clear the CMOS and I took the battery out but that didn't work. I called ASUS and they said I needed a new BIOS chip. I ordered it and put it in and then everything worked. I found an interesting website at www.badflash.com . The most interesting thing I found their was that they can reprogram your old BIOS chip for half the price of a new one. I'm thinking of doing it then I'll have a spare if this should happen again.
