Talking Best dual board for business (no OC)?

I want to build a new computer that can handle serious video editing and 3D apps. I decided a dual processor board would be ideal. Seems like the faster AMD cpus are the best deal...

I am not crazy about RDRAM 'cuz it seems like a ripoff, and I already have tons of SDRAM but if the best board requires it I guess I'll bite. I do need at least 5 PCI slots and wouldn't mind 4X256 RAM chips, either.

I do not care about overclocking. I am after STABILITY. I want to build this thing up and never have to worry about the BIOS or any of that crap. My income depends on it!

I already have all the SDRAM memory, cards, and perpherals, so all I need is a case, power, mobo, processors and fans. I have a decent budget for this, so I don't need the most economical setup, I need the most ideal setup.

    Thanks!

    Tim

Not an expert at anything, including dual processor mobos, but I have read good things about the Tyan Thunder K7 S2462 or the new Tyan Tiger 2460 MP.

    Thumbs up

I love my Tyan Thunder K7, but kinda wish I had waited for the Tiger to save a lot of $, and get a smaller board (altough the Ultra160 SCSI on the Thunder is nice too).

Anyway, you don't have to take my word for it...lots of websites have posted glowing reviews of this board and Athlon MP CPUs.
