    Exclamation Flashing Asus A7V 133 bios

    Guess what?...
    i flashed my asus a7v 133 bios with the latest revision (1007)
    since then the time booting has
    increased a lot....especifically when loading the ata 100 promise controller...

    My hdd is a 40 gb Quantum ata 100 5400rpm.

    can i do something to improve it?

    Asus A7N8X deluxe rev. 1.06 Bios ver. 1007
    Athlon XP 2700
    1 GB RAM DDR 400
    Atlantis Radeon 9800 pro
    2 X 80 GB maxtor 7200 rpm
    WINDOWS XP PRO sp1

    and i forgot to tell another thing...

    sometimes, not always, after installing
    something like a driver, the system doesnt reboot by himself, i have to reset it myself.

    what version did u have before?...which gave u the long bootup time...im currently on the 1004 bios.
