Question O/C'ing the Herc GeForce 2 MX

    One question:

    How?

    OK make that two:

Any additional hardware I will need? Tweak utils? I plan on using a BlOrb, but do I need any other hardware? RAM sinks? Where do I get them?

    Thanks in advance!

Ramsinks would be a great idea. Most of the performance gains from video card OC'ing occurs when your speed up the memory not the core. The Herc's 183 can hit about 195 on it's own maybe 200. However, with ramsinks you're looking at an extra 20Mhz.

As for the OC itself there should be a utility in your display properties. Otherwise there's several here: http://www.tweakfiles.com/

Hi you can get the ram heatsinks from www.millisec.com the Vice 3 ram coolers for $10.00 .i just put some on my Hercules Prophet II MX real easy .i`am running my card at 200/200 and it runs perfect i`am going to bumb the memory up to 210 this week
it should be able to handle it no prob .that is whith the ram heatsinks and the fan on the heatsink you might also need the coolbits registry hack from www.dibro.co.nz/computer/cards_v.html
