Man With Nothing To Lose
Where are the 3dfx drivers?
I want drivers for my 3dfx Voodoo Graphics on my old pentium, but I visited 3dfx.com and ah, to no avail it looks like they deleted their driver archives. Am I left with a dead card?

I found out the same crap last night. I guess NVidia is revamping the site and will have the drivers up there soon.

Their entire site is shutdown. You can always find 3dfx drivers somewhere else. Try www.download.com and search for it.

The drivers are there and you can download them, you just need to use an ftp program. They're on an ftp server with a user limit, so unless you get lucky when you click, windows won't let you connect. Get some ftp program and point it at ftp1.3dfx.com and log on as anonymous. From there you can get any driver you need as long as you know what it is. You can look at the links on the driver page to see what file you need to download.
I know this works, because I just downloaded Win 2k drivers for my V5 last night.
Good luck!

Ok, I tried the ftp trick, and after waiting for 10 minutes I still can't login into the directory. www.efa11.com doesn't have Voodoo 1 drivers, only Banshee/Voodoo2 and above. Also www.windriver.com has nothing to do with 3dfx. Can anyone help? I need the 3dfx Voodoo Graphics (y'know the original) reference drivers. Anyone have them on hand?

Hey SharkyForum Readers,
I'm sorry that EFA11 didn't work out for you, however, my only suggestion to you now would be to sign up at http://www.driverguide.com/join.htm
as they have a HUGE, and I do mean HUGE listing of every single company's (including 3dfx's) Drivers available on hand. The membership is free, and it's worth it, believe me. I hope this helps you.
