I have to install a new graphics card soon...
O.K., I've looked around and didn't find anything that would help me on how to upgrade my graphics card. Do I just take the old one out and put the new one in? I know after the computer restarts that it searches for drivers and you just stick in the CD that came in the box, but is there a "real" way that is cleaner, or is this how it's done? Also, how do I remove all my old drivers and such to "clean" my system out for the new card? I know I'm using the 11.01 Detonator's right now for my card, but I also know that I have Detonator 3's still in my computer somewhere. How do I locate and delete these old ones?

change you video card to a standard VGA. Shut down and then install you new card - then connect the dots

First make sure you know what you're buying. Make sure you get AGP if you need AGP and PCI if you need PCI. Don't worry so much bout cleaning out, just make sure you set it to standard VGA before installing card.
Then plug it in ALL THE WAY, and turn it on.

Yeah I know that I have an AGP slot, since that's what I'm using now, but I think that's about all I know. Thanks guys!
