    Post Thaught on 3dmark 2001.

I wonder how the point's is calculated from that demo.. Does being able to run all of them slower get a higher score than only one of them really fast?

I don't think the points in themself are a good way to tell if a card is good or bad, but instead look at the individual benchmarks and there fps..

Still avarage fps is a bad way to tell if a card is good or bad, since they can fly at 400fps on one scen and then get down to 10 fps on another and it would avarage at 205fps. While a card that do 100 on one and 70 on the other only would get a avarage of 75fps and still be better!!

So i'm really sceptical to only have a avarage FPS too. Only me thinking like this?

The 3DMark score is calculated using the following formula:

    3DMark score = (Game1LowDetail + Game2LowDetail + Game3LowDetail) * 10 + (Game1HighDetail + Game2HighDetail + Game3HighDetail + Game4) * 20

No, you are not the only one.

The minimum fps and deviation in fps is very important IMHO.
