    Post Prophet 3 selling well...

I just thought I'd pass on to everyone here that at www.ebworld.com the Prophet 3 is shipping for around $435 shipped. Now I looked today on the product page and saw they added the following and thought anybody who ordered from there and didn't know this should. I hope everybody gets their card as soon as possible. My guess is that the card is in short supply from the manufacturer or there are lots of people ordering them, or a little bit of both. Who all here is getting a Prophet 3 at launch or close to it?

    From Eb's site....

Due to limited availability, orders placed after May 3 cannot be guaranteed delivery at launch. EBgames.com expects to receive regular shipments of this product and will fill orders as soon as possible.

C´mon Bateluer, don´t go so low man!
Nowhere have been said that the chips are faulty, the only thing that´s happening is that the production isn´t as fast as they hopped it would be. And remember that all the GeForce3 out there are Rev. A5 final.

    low?

the whole thread seems pointless to me.

if the GF3 were in 'short supply', you would be lucky to get one anyway, besides, this is not the last shipment of them, and i can guess all of you can wait one more week.

Sorry Iglo, I was just trying to point out to a lot of people here that have purchased this card from this site. Next time I find information then I just won't post it.

I was pointing that when you make a chip that has 57 million little parts, its easy to get errors in the manufactoring process. And I believe the current revision of the GF3 is A6.

Janissary... give it a Friggen rest... -_- That is the most stupidly arrogently... rediculous post I've seen in these forums. A) Many, myself included simply don't want one... and feel it is in the consumer's best interest to wait to see what the competition brings out... since it will be six months before even a small collection of DX 8 games will be available. B) Don't assume all people think like you... because c) As far as nailing one to the wall If you are that stupid... have fun... *Shakes head* Ever consider upgrading your brain... because 'your way of thinking' is pretty messed up.

-lostboy... who figures this is his first lil flame... and won't respond if he's flamed in return. ^^; Sorry people... I'm not one to normally flame... but that post annoyed me greatly...

Actually lostboy you have a good point and I wrote that on the spur of the moment not really thinking, so I guess this is a small apology. That being said I just want to add that it really just annoys me when people try to foist opinions off as god given fact because it must be since it is THEIR opinion. Ohh well to each their own, but as far as my way of thinking, I spent over 6 years defending the US just so people could think any way they particularly wished so if you don't mind I will continue to think my own way

Sorry X-Tinman, the Radeon is going into my work machine, and the V5 5500 at work is replacing my girlfriends current video card, a GeForce 256 DDR.
