Problem updating detonator drivers

Attempted to update from 6.50 to 6.50 (final).
I removed the old 6.50s with add/remove programs and rebooted aand installed the 6.50 final update but now after rebooting I no longer have the nvidia control panel(open gl, directx etc.) under settings. I tried reverting to the old 6.50s but the problem remains.

Hi i never remove the old drivers on my Geforce 2 i did it once the first time i updated my drivers and the same thing happend to me ,you should use a newer driver like the 11.01 thier very good and they come with a setup.exe once you download them unzip them look for the setup.exe file in the driver run it . it installs perfectly .you can get drivers from www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com look under drivers ok ...................it`s sounds like the 6.50`s are not installing correctly
