Hercules Prophet 3 FINALLY discontinued.. see for yourself!

The Prophet 3 has finally ACTUALLY been discontinued. They are no longer making prophet 3's.
call any electronics boutique and ask them to tell you the status (active or discontinued) on this skew - 1997642 - the prophet 3. they will say discontinued.

Its a shame, and I wonder what will happen to my support. what if I need to RMA a card or something. how will they take care of this? Who knows, I just hope they do!

Why is the Prophet III still being advertised on Hercules's site???

If the product was discontinued you'd certainly see that on the manufacturer's site.

We've heard all this before. Hercules would not discontinue the prophet 3.

Hercules is a massive graphics card company with a great retail presence..........for them to not make a card based on the flagchip GPU of the worlds best graphics chip company would be just plain stupid.

See my response to another post in this forum. According to Hercules, the Prophet III is not being discontinued, but will only be provided to certain resellers such as Circuit City, and not be offered through their website anymore.
