Question Registery Hack To Overclock A Geforce GTS!?!

    Hi everyone,
I have read somewhere that there is registery hack to alter the Core and Memory speeds of the GPU (to overclock it). Could anyone please tell me how it is done or where i can find info on it. I dont want to used coolbits as it makes my monitor switch resolutions twice when changing the clock speed at the window's startup.

I want a way that is permanent, so the clock speed is set for good.

    Please Help,
    regards.

    Permanant you say?

I don't see how that's possible, unless you flash your video card's BIOS with a modified version of some sort...

Try this since you don't like coolbits...

coolbits is the registry hack dude
anyways u should try something else since coolbits usually doenst allow that much OCing but its always good to have it since it allows turning on V-Sync in D3D

I just downloaded that program and how does it work? It won't let me adjust core or mem speed. Also what are the Geforce2 GTS core and memory timings? mine seems really low, 120 and 300
