DET 4's DELAYED

"Thank you for your email. There was some confusion with the driver release date. The Detonator 4 drivers were not intended to be released this week. The original release date for the Detonator 4 drivers was going to be sometime in September however our engineers have been working hard to accelerate the release date sooner. In addition, we are providing further tweaks to improve on the performance over what has been benchmarked already. It won’t be to much longer for the release of the Detonator 4 drivers. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause."

So the new release date is this month.. and their isnt much left of it.

Personally I think its due to half miscommunication with the original announcment, and half the ATI/Nvidia wars.

they SAY it will eb released this week..most people see and read about the performance increase..spread the word at forums and the like, wait for newes sites to post the new (this happens int he first 3 days) then the next 3 days are anticipatioon and more bench's.. then slap a smll delay to legnthn the arrival and hype it more..

so when they DO come it will be like.. WOW THESE ARE INCREDIBLE WORTH THE WAIT BLAH BLAH BLAH...


Ohw ell..I dont care .. I still like nvidia, as long as I get them by this NEW release date...
