    Question Best microphone/software for onlineplay

What's the best microphone? (best quality/price, too..) for talking using rogerwilco or battlecom or things like that, while in a game? and possibly voice recognition? And what's the best software to help in that?

    Thanks!

what do u mean by voice recognition?? Do you mean that you say something, and the game responds by doing something? If so, i dont know what it's caled, but rememeber an ad for a product like that in either PC world or CGW. As for a great mic for online gaming, Soundquality will not be that great even if you get a top quality mic. Just go with a cheap one that you've tested to be able to handle your voice and make you sound good.

There used to be a product called verbalcommander (or game commander or something commander) that did voice recognition for games (you say a command and the game complies). I'm not sure if it's still in production, though i think i read somewhere that they are designing a new one. It was a ISA board that did all the work at the time, so you might want to look for something like that. As for mics, i just got one of those nifty headsets at frys and that seems to work fine for voice recognition and rogerwilco.
