    Where should I get a crossover cable a local store or internet, which is cheaper. I want about 50ft, if it possible.

    If there is a local computer store (not a best buy or a chain) they will often have lots of patch, crossover cat5 cables premade much cheaper than you will find anywhere else. That's where I'd start looking.

    here is a great deal on a 50ft crossover cat 5 cable its through onvia and its under 10$ and alot of times they offer free shiping for that stuff.
