Wireless DSL
I have been looking into means of getting internet for a new apartment and I came across Wireless DSL. It costs a little more then ADSL and offers the same speeds (max. of 1.5MBit down/128kbit-384kbit up). I was wondering if anyone has used this and what they though.

There are serveral different services that call themselves wireless DSL. What service are you talking about.

I've seen of a few companies selling wireless broadband services before, but I've heard it called "Wireless DSL" before.
Of course, if you already have DSL service, you can transform it into "Wireless DSL" by plugging your DSL modem into a Wireless Access Point or Wireless router.
I bought a Linksys BEFW11S4 wireless router for this exact purpose, so I surf the web from my laptop without having to plug it into anything. It works rather well once you get it configured, and I can now make cocky postings like these from my porch
