    Post QWEST MSN ON LAN

I am thinking of getting MNS DSL but from what I have seen you can not set it up to connect to your hub. Has any one got this service and if so will it work on a LAN, I also have a CISCO 675 witch will work on a LAN can I just set up my acount on it or do I have to use thier modem?

You should be fine. The Cisco 675 will connect to the DSL line. Connect the LAN port on the Cisco to a hub or switch, and plug your computers into the switch.

Normally, you would need a separate router, but the Cisco 675 is a combo DSL modem *and* router.

Doing a search on Google, I came across this web page on Qwest's web site that specifically addresses some questions about using the Cisco 675 with their service. I'd say that's a good sign that it'll work!

And here is another page that has information on using a Cisco 675 with Qwest.

Do a search on Google on "qwest cisco 675" and you'll come up with all sorts of useful information.

you could call msn or whoever your dsl provider is and ask them if you can use the 675.

You dont need to ask tho, just plug a cisco 675 or 678 into your hub, it works real nice actually....
