    Post Reliable PDA/Pocket PC

I don't want to annoy anyone but I am starting to think about Xmas because some of my presents need to go a long way in the post.

I have a friend for whom I was thinking of buying a PDA or Pocket PC. Because the after-sales service where he lives is a joke (and there's nothing to be done about it). I was wondering what models would be considered to offer a good combination of reliability, features and value for money.

I still haven't decided whether I'm going for a PDA or for a pocket pc, so suggestions for either are welcome.

How Much DO you Want TO Spend? Pocket PC's can be great but in order to enjoy it you have to have at least 32megs of memory and a color screen, if you want to spend less then $400 go for a pda, if you can spend four or five hundred then get a pocketpc, if you go for a pocket pc you can choose between the Toshiba and the ipaq as the new pocket pc os (released later this year or early next) will only run on a strong arm processor which means the Casio’s and hp's will not be upgradeable while the Toshiba and Compaq will.
