Detonator 3 drivers not working

Howdy folks,

I'm having big problems with nvidia's detonator 3 drivers. The first detonator 3 release made EVERY 3d game crash, either in the menus or the game itself, while the 5.22 and 5.30 drivers work fine. However, the newest detonator drivers from nvidia prevent windows from loading at all. The gui begins to load but all that appears is a black screen with one illuminated pixel in the top left corner.

I'm thinking it may be something to do with the mobo... pos that it is.

The latest Det's don't work well with *every* hardware configuration out there. I stick with the 5.22's myself. They work wonderfully without error. If the Der3's work for you...great, if not, stick with what works and don't worry about it. 5.22's are a *great* driver set.

if u can try and get the det3 drivers working 'cause i and alot of other people find them faster, there still some bugs to be ironed out like with the dvd playback, and mouse pointers disapering in certain games...but hey there faster
