    Question Convert .pct (mac) files to .jpeg?

    Anyone know of how i can do this?

    I can view them using quicktime, but haven't found any software which will let me convert them to Jpg..

    Well, Adobe Photoshop would be an obvious way to get it done, but that program is pretty expensive if you can't get the educational discount.

    You might want to check download.com for some free ones...

    Download a program called graphic convertor http://lemkesoft.com/us_index.html
    it will work on the mac and allow you to change the pct file to a jpeg or any other file type you want.

    hiya guys,

    I have Adobe photoshop 6 but that says it is unable to convert the files.. It says that they are too complex!?!?

    I also dont have access to a mac machine..

    Any more ideas?

    have u tried copying and than pasting that picture onto a new frame, than saving that new frame as a jpeg?

    BarneyInTechno that worked, silly me for not trying, i can copy and paste the image from the view and put it in a paint package.

    Only problem is that i have > 200 to do, so if anyone can think of a better way i would be grateful. I will get on with it like this for now though

    Cheers all, found out that my version of quicktime was quite old, i managed to download a recent version which allowed me to export the files as a different type.
