To Fellow Americans: Thanks for being you and coming together in this difficult time.

To President Bush and the rest of the U.S. Leaders: We're praying for you and thank you for your service to the nation.

    Something that everyone's missed.

    These are my favorite combination:
    -Bryce 3D
    -PS6.0
    -Poser

Poser is really nice program for characters. You outta try it. : )

But anyway, like the topic says...I'm looking for the best graphic programs/applications. I already have Bryce 5 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0. I'm working on web page graphics and some other free-lance graphics jobs for local bands in my area. So if anyone knows of some other good graphics applications I would greatly appriciate some input. Also, I'm looking for good Photoshop plug-ins as well. Price really isn't much of an object, as I have a whole lot of money to burn at the moment. =) That's a nice feeling for once. Thanks in advance.

Actually...Poser is a program for characters as in people, etc. Its actually pretty cool...one of my friends has it. I'm thinking about picking it up...although I'm not quite sure what use I'd have for it though.

Yes. Poser is for creating people or animals or whatever. I love this program. You can start off with naked human character and progressively add on clothes. You can have them animated. What I usually do (I'm sorry but I'm not good at this program. It's barely been a week since I've started to use it) is I'd make a human character then export that character into 3D Object. Then I'd use Bryce3D to import that object, and do lots of things with it. Like I said, I'm not an expert so this is all I can do for now. I am sure that you can have unlimited possibilities with this program, it just takes time to discover it. hehe. Anyways, give it a shot and I'm sure you'll like it.

Poser is originally made by MetaCreations but apparently now it is being distributed by Curious Labs ( http://www.curiouslabs.com/ ). You can go to their site and read a heck a lot about it. You can even d/l a demo!

    Have fun!

I'm not quite sure if $219 is worth it...but then again, I've never really used it that much...so who knows.

Before I used The Gimp I didn't have much experience with graphics applications so it took a while to figure things out. If you have used Photoshop before you should catch on pretty quickly. Also check out the TONS of filters and scrips you can find...
