Looking at www.internet.com under Web Developer (one of the channels on the top of the page), there seems to be a good deal of useful pages there.

Here is a good starting point that I go to quite often when I'm stuck. It's called Dev Central and I've used mostly it's C/C++ Turorials.

A suggestion to all of you out there still in college. You know those books that you bought for your classes? Well, keep 'em! At least the CS books and your Calculus book. These books will provide you a constant and useful reference, especially if you just need to freshen up your knowledge. Now, be careful too, since these books can be outdated.

As I look over to my booksehlf, I see about 10 books from school that I have used on a regular basis. mostly my calc and stats books though cuz my math is rather rusty. But that is true, keep most of your technical books.

Another excellent site is about.com (under Computing/Technology)

I go to www.wdvl.com and www.webmonkey.com for tutorials and help. They're pretty good sites, wdvl has more material and more in depth, but webmonkey is more down to earth.
