Ya that's a good site. I mentioned it in a post before, but I didn't write it correctly. I forgot the hyphens in between the words!
They've got some great example code in a good variety of languages.
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Know of any good assembler language sites?

You could checkhere for some assembly sites
good luck
One of my cosc classes next semester includes some assembly...sounds scary!

I loved assembly. It was tricky at first but I loved messing with registers and memory.

I heard from another Programming Forum that Assembly is hard and extremly difficult to master...is that true?

Generally, YES! Assembly is about as low level coding as you can go, short of the actual binary machinne code. With assembly, you're talking directly to the proc and stuff...check out some example progs to get an idea of what it looks like.

So would Assembly then be the most powerful language besides Binary?

I'm not sure if it would be called the most "powerful" language, since you'd really have to define what you mean by powerful.
As far as I know, assembly is usually used in parts of larger programs where speed is very demanding. For example, usually pieces of 3D game engines are written with assembly, within the C/C++ or whatever code.
Also, I've heard that generally a really good algorithm that fits the problem in whatever language you're using is going to be just as good as writing it in something as low level as assembly.

Yes, its the most powerful language. Easily. You have total control over every aspect of programming.
It is also the most time consuming language. Take, for example, writing a for loop in C++. It would take you about 20-30 seconds to do in that. IN assembly, give yourself about an hour. Don't even get me started on writing a class in assembly!

Powerful in terms of speed, yes. In terms of portability, assembly is usually platform specific, right? i.e. x86, alpha, etc. That's why I mentioned that it would depend on what you meant by powerful.

I'm not really sure if there's too much of a difference btw 80x86 assembly and MIPS assembly. Maybe some syntactical(sp?) things. Anyone else have any idea?
You are absolutely right. One person's definition of power could be speed of the programming process, in which case, assembly lose hands down. But in term of power being how much control you have over a language, assembly would win.
