Post Setting up a DNS server

I was wondering if anyone knew how to setup a DNS server. I only have one static Ip address. So my question is, how do i configure a DNS server with One static ip and one Internal network # like 192.168.0.5 or so for the secondary DNS. Im hoping if anyone can give me a small HOW-to guide on setting it up for Windows 2k pro and Redhat Linux 7. =) im currently running a webserver using my ISP'S dns servers. But for shits and grins, i would like to learn how all this is done.. This is my first attempt so if anyone can explain it in lame terms i would appriciate it. Also if possible, how would i go around Testing the dns server..

    Thanks in Advance

Again, I answered this in Networks & Networking. This is the 5 place I've seen this posted. Please do not cross post.

You might have gotten an answer from me, I set up and configure dns servers every day, but xposting is not cool.
