    Question Math/Programming

    I have a question. I am in high school and I suck at math and I am even in resource math because I am not good at all. I don't know about algrabra never done it but I am not sure because I love computers and I try to read and understand C books and other C type languages (PHP,so on) and I just wanted to know if I am going to have a REAL tough time because I am not good with math or what? I mean I want to be able to be good but I am just asking maybe there is someone out there thats like that. I was reading some posts and they said you have to be like a Math Scientist or something. I mean I love computers and stuff but I just don't know that much I mean I know HTML :P and stuff but that requires no math skill. If someone could post something on that I'd be greatful.

    There are plenty of programming jobs in the IT field that do not require math.

    mathematics are the foundation of computer science, but you can get an IT job without w/o knowing too much math but you never gona be a good computer scientists or difficult for your boss to give u a chance to do a real big project.

    No you don't to be a mathematician to program. Math is an essential part in Computer Sciene. It is actually the queen of all sciences. I'm doing Computer Engineering in college now, and I almost have a math minor under my hand.

    Simple math is required for programming, math develops the mentality for problem solving which is at the heart of programming.

    No, you do not have to be a math scientist. You really need to just understand some concepts. If you learn the syntax well, and have experience writing many codes, programming even without knowing math that well will come easier.
