    Post 115 degrees Celcius... ouch

I almost fried my CPU. Well not really, but I saw the temp. reaching 115 degrees Celcius and noticed a strange smell of burnt plastic. I quickly turned off the system and opened the case, and guess what I found out? From last time I had the case open I had been fiddling around with the IDE cables and power leds. Some wires was stuck in my CPU HSF combo...

The morale to this story :

Always make sure your wires are firmly put out of way so that they don't block any cooling devices!

Right when I saw the temp. at 155 degrees the system was SHUT DOWN for good!

Luckily, nothing had gotten burnt yet. I'm still using the exact same CPU and it's running just fine
