The "E" means it's a Coppermine (there was a pre-coppermine P3, but I can't think of the name right now...). The "B" means the FSB(Front Side Bus) speed is 133mhz. Some P3's have a 100mhz FSB.Originally posted by Lcapone:

The CPU is a Intel Pentium 3 chip running at 600 mhz. It is the socket 370 type. The bios say it is a 600 mhz EB chip. Whatever EB means. My PC crash from time to time but I think that is normal. Win 98 SE?
