Just put together my first pc. Amd TB 800, FIC az11 MB , NIC, 10gig HD, etc... now I got it all to work fine on win 98 SE until i tried to disable the on board sound and add a Diamond Monster sound MX300.. I have all th elatest drivers for my NIC and the sound card and disabled the onboard sound.. And everything plays fine ..I can play mp3's and other normal windows noises. BUT I am a gamer(mainly Starsiege Tribes) and when I start up Tribes it locks up now. I was able to play before with the onboard. What could be the problem? Can I not use this card?
