Thumbs up B-17 Flying Fortress -- The Mighty 8th

Now this is a game I want to see. It puts you on the crew of an 8th AF B-17, bombing Germany in WWII. Being in the AF, a history buff, and a game nut, this is right up my alley. From what I've read, you can choose to play as any of the crew, and I think you can even jump into one of the P-51 escorts and chase a few ME-109s around. Sounds like an interesting game, what do you all think?

    Wink

Yeah, it looks pretty damn good. The only thing I will miss is the Multiplayer option. I sure hope they can patch it on later.

I owned F15 for my old Commodore 64, and will buy B-17. Good bookends I think, as this will likely be Microprose's last real sim. I certainly hope not. Janes gone, Microprose gone, good lord, who will bring us wonderful sims??

Wait..there is Rowan and Empire Battle of Britain looks...amazing

Perhaps it'll match the old Lucasarts BoB game!

    Thumbs up

    Oooooh!
You lucky devil! My copy went AWOL in a move about 8 years ago. Then again, BoB is probably a lot like Space 1999. It was amazing when I was younger, but on recent watching, it pretty much sucks!
    Hehe.
That's why I am going to buy the first season on DVD when it's available :>
