Return to Wolfenstein
all i have seen on return to wolf was like 3 screenshots, i lost the site for the screenshots so i don't even know more about it other than its based on q III engine and its not id software...anyone have any ideas about it? links would be a plus too
i went out and bought wolf3d on a CD with the expansion set for $0.01...its old but that doesnt make it any less fun!
btw - the screenshots look great from what i have seen....i can't wait!

I totally agree-check out gamespot.com (I think!) for new screenies. Not much chatter about this game in the forums, but I think it'll be a blast.

Actually, it -is- being developed by someone else, but it IS under the auspices of Id. Something tells me Carmack wouldnt let what was the nascent Id game be slaughtered by anyone, so I suspect a tight rein will be kept! Hopefully for the better, as it would suck if it was a horrid piece of crap! Wolfenstein was teh driving force behind my burning desire to get a better PC than my old 286, and led me into the construction and upgrading of PC's...said skills now serving to provide me with an income!
Here's to it kicking some hard core butt.

I think gamespot.co.uk had some more shots of this one. I saw it running at E3 and even at that early stage it was looking slick. It's being made by Gray Matter, a comapny formed by a lot of guys form Xatrix. While Kingpin wasn't the most original of titles it was polished and fun, which is exactly what Return to Castle Wolfenstein needs to be in my opinion. Should be cool.
