***, are any good games going to be released by Christmas?

I just checked out EB and the all the following games aren't being released until next year:

Halo
Oni
Duke Nukem Forever
Warcraft III
Max Payne
Team Fortress 2
Black and White

The only good game I see coming out is Escape From Monkey Island. Looks like all these new video cards/systems (mine included) aren't going to see much use on any great/new titles until early next year.

I just upgraded, and was waiting for DN4 and WCIII. Fortunately (or oddly, as you might see it) I never got around to buying UT, so I got that and it has carried me for now. Do you know when Return to Castle Wolfenstein comes out?

Go for UT. I dont think we will be seeing Team Fortress 2 for awhile. I was really excited for this game when it was going to be a free add-on for Half Life. Then I watched it go from add-on to a full game, then came the delays. I am sure it will be a great game though.

We all know it takes some time to create a real blockbuster, so let's wait patiently (i know it's hard) and get some really finished games. I don't like getting my most anticipated game o.t. year and seeing it's unfinished crap ( did anyone play to the "end" of System Shock2 ? That was a real mess! the excuse was: "Sorry, we lost the end we originally created, and we didn't have the time to finish it")
After all, we're going to get some cool games next year.

I just got done reading it. I cant wait for Alice and Tribes 2. Sacrifice is looking rather interesting. I saw some pics for it and it looks amazing. After reading the little blurb on it, I might look more into it.

I saw some good screenies there, but that doesn't mean the games rock. Look at FAKK2, I mean it looks cool at first sight, but I couldn't stand the demo for more than a few minutes. It sucked. Too much colors, space chicks, third person, or in one word: bullshi*. ( Sorry for that ;-))

HeHe..I remember this piece of software-sh..!I `ve wait for this for years and then they served us this!! U r right, better waitin`and being satisfied !! There will never be a SYSTEM SHOCK3,unfortunately.:-(
