Post what can I play with this spec?

    I have a .. PIII 866, 256 PC133 SDRAM, GeForce2 GTS 32mb...
I plan to stick with this baby for a while, cause I've spent a lot already...heh

what are some awesome games I can play besides the usual quake or unreal? like Black and white seems pretty awesome... and the longest journey seems good too... but... anyone know if my system can handle it? I heard B&W demands a lot out of your computer... I like to play with 1024res, and preferably most to all of the effects turned on.. (I like good quality) and still have decent framerates... any suggestions on some current or upcoming games?

    thanks!

You can play anything with that. Walk into a computer store and take your pick.

Black & White will take as much as your system can give. Anything P2 and above w/a 3D can run B&W. Of course B&W on yer rig will look a whole lot better than B&W on a P2

You still have 6-12 months left before your P3 will become useless, I have a 550 athlon and I don't play to upgrade till March-April.

Define useless. I have a cu500 and plan to build a Ghz+ Tbird for christmas. It depends on how much you're willing to poor into keeping that sinking ship floating. You can up the vidcard, add more ram, overclocking, etc . . . but in the end 6 months, tops. PC games are going into realms that will demand every last ounce of power and that wussy 500 proc won't cut it.

Oh, quit showing off. You can play any darn thing you want too...except Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. Nope, dont think your machine would do very well with it...
    (evil laugh)
And I would tell you why, but with a setup like that, you can afford to blow $10 and find out...

PLAY DOOM2 , THIS GAME REQUIRES LOT OF RESOLUTION TO PLAY WELL. Anway since they have cutting edge FMVs at sizzling speeds and gigs i am not sure. If I were you, i'll upgrade that stupid computer you have. Smells like a compaq, sniff sniff
